Making my Hamster Breakfast 🥞

Happy Saturday! You may have noticed Lenny has some hair loss again on his fur, it had gotten better but it’s back to being lost again. I have made a vet appointment fro the 25th to see if we can figure out what’s causing it. I’ve tried everything I can to solve it from changing seed mixes, changing bedding brands multiple times (He can only stay on paper bedding because of his reproductive issue), was treated for mites and had all his accessories washed and baked. I’m hoping it’s nothing untreatable, though because he still has hair growth when he’s losing it I am hopeful it’s not likely kidney disease or cancer since it probably wouldn’t grow back. Anyways that is what I wanted to update you on!

This video made me really hungry! 😄 I hope Lenny left a good tip for the kitchen staff! P.s. Regarding his hair loss, have you ever tried increasing his fat intake? The reason I mention this is because Yodel had the exact same issue. I figured out he needed more fat (more than what I normally fed my Syrians) and as soon as I did that, his fur grew back and stopped balding. :) I increased his flax seeds, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds. Just a random thing to mention if he checks out healthy and you haven't tried it already! ❤ He's such a cutie though!

Hehe I wish I had the motivation to make myself pancakes 😂 Yes I add in flax seeds, chia seeds, peanuts, baby food, baby oatmeal with brewers yeast and coconut oil! Hasn't seem to clear it up though :(

I just rescued my first hamster! He’s a long haired Syrian, and is seriously the sweetest thing I’ve ever met! He was paired with a robo hamster and a female Syrian for 5 months in a horrible inclosure, with mold and all. I still can’t believe no one died... thank you for these videos!
