My hamster Maisie (almost 3) was PTS yesterday due to a fast-growing, serious tumour in her abdomen. Her last meal was some scrambled egg and butternut squash. Thank you for your videos in helping raise her, she was happy her whole life ♥

i’ll definitely be making this recipe for my dwarf hamster. he is about 2 years and 7 months old at the moment, which is an age i totally didn’t expect he’d make it to. he’s a rescue hamster and the rescue told me his parents were both from a chain pet shop. i’ve also got a syrian hamster from strong brew hamstery (alvin, idk if you know who she is? retired breeder hamster- grandmother to lux) and she’s about the same age as dipper (give or take a few days)

Hi, Victoria! I was so excited when I learned that I can share videos on my online school site! You inspired me and now I'm a 'pet youtuber' on the school site making funny and informative videos about hamsters. There's been several kids saying that they are getting a hamster soon and that I showed them correct care! I started because I was shocked at the amount of kids "informing" other kids about how to take care of their pets. Mabel is very sweet and so are you for taking such good care of her. Catnip tea is good for humans too. It has a mild sedative effect on us and doesn't taste too bad if you sweeten it. You should try it if you ever feel anxious and need to relax. I lost my first Syrian to lymphoma. It's rough.

Thank you so much for this channel, seriously. I adopted 2 robo dwarf hamsters a couple of weeks ago. Originally, I (poorly) prepped for one hamster. Then when I went to the store they only had robo dwarves and the lady said that I should get 2 because they'll get lonely otherwise. So, right now I have 2 hamsters, 2 wheels, inside a 2-story crittertrail cage they can't burrow in. And of course it's only now I realize that I'm going to have a dead hamster on my hand if I don't change something. This entire day is going to be dedicated to researching, compiling and establishing a much more suitable living area (or just 2 separate ones, honestly). Definitely going to take a before and after photo.
