The logic behind is just a lasery transient, with the FX filter set to reverb, where the cutoff is automated to go from the left to the centre. I just played with the idea a bit more by using noise instead and also adding a phaser for movement

Hey I use logic too! I want to make songs like this but my CPU dies every time I do. Btw how loud do you master? I try to get to -3 LUFS but it always fucks up my song so I’m thinking about not mastering that loud. But what is your input on making heavy/experimental dubstep in Logic Pro?

Well in my case, I'm pretty cheap, using free plugins that are stock or external, so I would rely more on sound design and arrangement to get headroom n allat. Also bounce your audio and disable the respective track if the cpu is fighting demons
