An italian customer asked for a full tang knife inspired by a liner lock knife he likes very much, so the design isn't mine. It took me more than 1 month to complete it, cause it must be perfect and mirror shine, that's require a long process of handsanding. in this part i'm making the handle with red micarta and the leather sheath.

Very nice, well done I have 2 questions : Where do you buy your steel ? Doesn't 12c27 require specific heat treat ? I've always thought that stainless steel need a steel foil wrap and a kiln to be hardened correctly

I bought it on JATAGAN.EU but just search on google there are lot of eshop that sell steel for knives. 12c27 is heat treated with oil quench, is corrosion resistant, not full stainless steel, so you can work with it like a normal carbon steel. The steel foil wrap is used for plate quench, at least is what i saw, never tried it

Thanks! To fill small holes ypu can use super glue, better if mixed with fine dust. It works perfectly to fill holes in wood

put paste wax for automobile polishing on the areas you don't want the epoxy to stick. It will pick right off.

lol i still don't calculate how much i should earn per hour, i prefer to take my time and do the job as should be, i'm still learning a lot of things, so rushing will bring only problems and mistakes, that's why i stay really large saying to customers how much time i will need, maybe i will finish the knife very fast, but usually i prefer to not have deadlines
