I looked FOREVER for this fabric and found it by accident in a fabric shop. I think next time I'm just going to dye one! Maybe that's an option for you, too?

what fabric do you use? I'm making a shinso costume, but it's my first and I don't know much about fabrics.

We used a mixed fabric with some flexibility

For which part exactly? The armor parts are made out of foam though, then some foam parts like the shoulder pads covered with pleather.
