No, I think the music is by "The Other Two", two members from New Order. However, I'm not sure what the track is called. It was used on most of the episodes of series 3, but very randomly, some episodes of series 3, randomly used "Vanishing Point" instead.

This was, specifically, the end credits to series 3, episode 7.

@avocetmedia Cheers, I didn't know that! Have you got it on DVD? I was watching it the other week, the one where Queenie and Norma take Kim Su Yung to the car boot sale, early S1, and the following episode, where they bring in Tamsin Carlisle, a team building co-ordinator, to help boost profits, but naturally, Queenie pulls her to pieces LOL :-)

@avocetmedia Hi - you are correct. It was episodes 4, 5, 6 which used a revised version of Vanishing Point. I think it was perhaps not quite as good as the first 2 series, they seemed to cram in a lot more storylines, don't you think? I also didn't like seeing Pauline terminally ill, since she was one of the best characters, although Rachel Davies played that storyline superbly. Still, I'd rather the 3rd series have been made than not. :) Have you got it on DVD?

@lec0roh From what I remember, S3 only came about because of viewer pressure. The BBC had originally decided to finish Making Out with S2. To be honest, I found too many changes were made - maybe because potential story lines were drying up - and the programme wasn't the same. Rachel Davies' Pauline was good, but Margi Clarke's Queenie was better :-)

Not quite true. Some S3 episodes used another variation on Vanishing Point. As for the season, itself, I found it weaker than the previous 2 - which probably explains why it was never repeated (unlike S1 & S2). As I recall, S3 was only made due to demand from fans - the BBC preferring to end the programme on a high...
