I followed the game on radio two mw as it was then as forests game was seen as more competive, every ten minutes or so they cut to anfield as each goal went in. When olou scored I couldn't believe it. What wonderful memories of a golden era.

Never forget, in the 2nd half. Ray Clemance was behind the the goal talking to people in the the crowd & signing autographs. That's why he was distracted for the away teams goal. If that happened nowadays, the press would have him strung up for not concentrating on the game.....

I was 17 and in the Main Stand for this game with my girlfriend. Ended up in Paris that season for the final v Real Madrid 😁

The reason for the grainy picture was that this camera was basic recording equipment, intended to show quick highlights at the end of a local news report. For 'The Big Match' and 'Match of the Day', the equipment was far superior. Sadly, there were many occasions when there were no cameras at Anfield and so much exciting football was never shown on television. Those images are stored in the personal memory 'hard-drive' of those lucky enough to have been there!
