Making Peach Mead - Part 1

It's end of August and we have locally grown peaches on hand and decided to make a peach mead with them.
Ingredients:
Gallon of water (4 Liters)
½ pounds of peaches (1/2 kilogram)
2 Cinnamon sticks
4 ½ pounds of honey (2 kilograms)
1 teaspoon of yeast nutrient (6 grams)
½ of a packet of Lalvin D47
1.5 grams of Fermaid O
1 Gallon wide mouth carboy

new to your channel, I am new to mead making. I have bottled my first 1 gallon batch and getting close to bottling my 2nd 1 gallon batch. I also just started a 6 gallon batch on Monday. looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

Good luck! We almost threw out our very first batch because we didn’t understand young meads but by accident forgot about it, opened it a year later, and we’re super impressed.

I didn't catch what that ingredient was you put in right before ( or was it right after ?) the yeast nutrient. Very curious how this turns out...good luck ! pc
