Sepphiah, Arthur & Sarah on the topic of essential oils made from trees, and others which smelly woodsy but come from roots and leaves. Still more which are individual aromatic molecules created by chemists so we don't have to cut down endangered trees to make perfume. We also chat about 4160Tuesdays fragrances which contain woods materials.

Oh this was my favourite! Whenever I see woods, patchouli, vetiver or oud, I'm in. I can never decide if I prefer sandalwood to patchouli. I agree, patchouli on its own is a bit strange, but in my 20s I used to love the smell of it on my clothes the day after... (old hippie 😂). It's sweeter somehow. London 1969 was my first buy from 4160 Tuesdays. And Midnight In The Palace Garden is in my top 5 -always-. As usual this video was informative, entertaining (funny! 😁) and just lovely. Sarah, my Blue Peter badge is also 54 years old now 🤗 x

you guys are whispering sometimes it is hard to understand...it would be great, if you put names of materials on the screen. It looks like I haven't smelled many of your woody fragrances...and I definitely need to revisit that Garden perfume cause I need't remember it like that at all

I usually list them on the Patreon as I post a these films there too. I'm hoping one day to be able to spend more time on this too. For the moment what I do here is share the knowledge free, and I don't yet have the spare hours to annotate them. I'll bear it in mind though, thank you.
