I'm super sorry and disappointed that I totally forgot to add the baking time and baking temperature, my apologies to anyone wondering where that information is, I try and remember to add all info so everyone can do what I'm doing, so again I'm sorry about that.

Wow, this looks amazing! Sad you didn't do a part 3 to this Poolish dough so we could see how you actually shape, build and bake the actual pizza. Either way, thanks for sharing.

Good morning Samantha 🙂 Yeah I could have done that, but the sad fact is, when I do these multi-part videos the % of people even watching them is so low that it is a bit depressing. I tend to stay away from multi-part videos. I put a lot of time into these 2, and then I realize too that I didn't give the info about the bake time ! - doh ! and that makes me feel sad. I want to give everyone 100% complete info. That said, pizzas were baked at 500 degrees F for 6 minutes in my kitchen oven. I did use a pizza steel ( like a pizza stone, but it's made of steel ) Thanks so much for watching ! 😊

Time consuming for sure but definitely worth the process as I can see the lighter more airy crust. Thank you for posting both videos so quickly and not making us wait. I make pizza every Saturday for dinner and make a great crust that is ready for use in two hours but will definitely try your polish method for a mid week meal . Thanks again for making this so simple. Would appreciate if you could post the shaping and baking part of this pizza as well. Truly appreciate your work.🙏🏼

Hi Nalini, thanks for watching ! I have many videos showing me shaping the dough here on my channel. I just ran out of energy doing this 2 part video. I could have made 3 parts, but just didn't have the mental "want" to do it, but there are videos of me shaping the dough on my channel if that interests you. I am no expert doing that, but at least I can make them round ! haha. Yes, an advanced recipe for sure, 99% of the time I make regular easy dough recipes that I use the same day. I have maybe 10 maybe 15 recipes here on my KZbin channels. Thanks so much for watching ! 😊

@@BakeLikeAPro I can understand the ran out of energy part well since you have made an effort to keep it interesting and not wordy . That can get boring sometimes. Thank you.

Hi farhana 🙂 Thanks very much for watching. If you are new to pizza doughs, I would highly encourage you to watch some of my other ones which are 10x easier to do. This one as you see takes time, a lot of time, it's really an advanced video, that is geared towards those who have a lot more experience with dough - that said, if you have the time, sure ! go ahead and try it ! It's a great dough, you will love it. Thanks so much for watching ! 😊

Is there a good chew to the crust❤
@BakeLikeAPro3 ай бұрын
Hi 4JC, you'll find the outer crust has that nice crisp texture when it comes out of the oven and the inside is indeed chewy. Since this dough has been made over a few days it gets a super nice texture and flavour, and it will remind of you a pizza from a good pizzeria that makes this in a wood fired oven. The dough is really good. Thanks so much for watching ! 😊( I did bake this on a pizza steel, at 500 degrees F for 6 minutes )

After they are made for the last time. Can you freeze them at this time
@BakeLikeAPro3 ай бұрын
Hi fazz4444, yes at that point you can freeze the dough balls without a problem. I have many videos for pizza dough where I talk about this. I hope this helps. Thanks so much for watching ! 😊
