I have grown my city to 1.2 million and I used the strategy of bringing in all resources to a central storage. The only problem is that now I lose a lot of frames with all MK3 unloaders trying to keep up... Maybe a good idea is to space it a little more to avoid lag or make smaller stocks... following the series myself! pretty cool.

ooo I didn't know there where Mk3 unloaders that should be fun! ill keep that in mind you are probably right that smaller ones spaced out would probably be better on the frames.. I guess we will see if I need to change to that or not.

Looks like everything is working out you should be able to really boost your city's for a while with your setup. I pushed my city to 9.8 million but can no longer meet demands ,the beast needs to feed. Not sure where the limit is but I have started over and am definitely using some of the things you've shown me to great effect and have hit 2 million with ease. Good job on your subs man that's huge. Tell next time

9.8 million is crazy so far that is defiantly the largest one that I have heard of! Happy to hear that some of my stuff is helping with your new world!

I have not heard of a miner that is placed on the water but that would be awesome if there is one! We should get there soon thought and find out.

The only issue I might have noticed that you missed which might not even be an issue is the waste disposal area, the new growth has grown into it which means you'll have to destroy buildings to build there and it will reduce growth to do so. A tiny thing and I had to think on that for a bit. The only other issue is not enough content lol

Yeah i think i am going to have to just destroy buildings if i need to expand that. Does not really seem to hurt the city as it grows crazy fast later on and it would hardly be noticed. I hear you on the content thought, Unfortunately with a full time job, and other regular life stuff. I just don't have the time yet to really push them out faster then what I am currently doing.

Not to put a damper on your enthusiasm but would it not maybe be better to heat up the planet and see where the water will spawn? It would really suck to have all your work flooded!

Yes it would, and I am running the risk of that happening. So far I have tried to place most things at a high altitude, trying to keep out of the way of the water but we will see. I have been told that the miners still work underwater so I need to start just putting them all down for when the flood happens and see how that works.

@@zachsletsplays I've seen miners flooded out in other play-throughs. I think it depends on depth. So I'd advise you mining all the resources you can into your warehousing before the water starts. If you can't grab them all, at least grab the ones in low elevations so you won't lose them.

@@zachsletsplays good deal. Trains seemed to run even in water deeper than they were so that shouldn't be an issue, maybe if there are ever oceans or an update changes something.
