We soapers tend to all have one thing in common, regardless of our techniques, preferences, etc: WE HATE TO WASTE GOOD SOAP! I scrape all my soap residue from containers into individual molds and chop the saponified soap into embeds and make hot process soap to support them. This takes care of two things important to me: I HATE to waste soap and I LOVE to make hot process. It's a win win situation for me and the soap recipients. Great job, Ellen!

I've made two rebatch soaps. My first one I didn't add any extra liquid so it was dry and crumbly but it worked ok but the second is so nice, I've been using it ever since. I added goat milk to it and left the scent as is. I like it 🤗

I get tired of putting the corners shavings in soaps. (I never have planed my soaps.). So I might try that. Handy little soaps. I like to keep a small bar at the sinks, inc. kitchen, so those are perfect size. Everyone (family)is always asking for soap, so great idea for that. 😉 Thanks for the cheerful idea. Blessings 💕💕

I don't know why, but when I made re batch I could never get mine as fluid as yours. And I followed your last rebatch video to the letter. I had to pack them into the molds. Maybe I will have better luck next time

Hello Ellen , can we make Rebaching soaps at cold process, how much time to take cure this soaps
@EllenRuthSoap4 жыл бұрын
These were made with cold process shavings, they are already "cured" but do need to dry out and let the extra fluid evaporate. I like to give them a few weeks to dry.
@vivhalaska724 жыл бұрын
Did you notice they float? When you use a hand mixer you add air which makes them float.

@cherylnorise574 жыл бұрын
Good morning, I need to ask a question only because I don’t know the answer. So when you put a powdered milk in rebatch soap. It will melt as you cook? Or do it dissolve with when you use it? I have a whole lot of soap to rebatch. I’m willing to do a lot of variations. Be safe and have an awesome day
@EllenRuthSoap4 жыл бұрын
It's a good question. I have not had a problem with the powder melting into the rebatch, but you can't go wrong with reconstituting it first...

Hi, Ellen! Love your channel.I just discovered it recently and I've been making my way through your videos. Re the coconut milk powder...does it also help make fluffier lather also in fresh batches of cold process soap?
