Thank you. Yes, quality has dramatically increased and I just recently did the math on how much I spent on tools and it turns out that $4,000 was spent already. WOW!!! I thought I would be somewhere around $2,000. I guess when you buy little at a time you do not notice it.

Small tip: Use something to support the Lansky sharpener's rod like your gloved finger put over or under it, so the sharpening angle is consistent.

very incredible work, one detail, the hook at the top is a rope cutter hook or a seatbelt cutter but it doesn't matter and you could get it sharper with a shard of ceramic or diamond dust and then you get rid of the micro serrations by rubbing it against leather and finally white compound to give it a mirror's edge, mainly for esthetics, great job and I hope I helped at least a little bit... :)
