Hey 😊.. I saw that bird mould...cute unfortunately it's too small for what I want... I need a bird around 13 cm in length... I have seen some soap bird moulds the right size..but the exterior is textured which I don't want either... All good I'll make a mould From a low viscosity platinum silicone...

Fleur Lewis they can freeze them, fill them with resin, or coat them before they encapsulate them

Hi, with my molds you can use any type of epoxy resin, on this video I use Amazing resin brand.

Eso tiene que ver con el molde. Espero que lo que pasó fue que la tapa no era brillosa y la botella era brillosa. En el caso que un molde sea brilloso entonces el resin se queda claro y transparente.

Resin it's like a plastic so it might get some scratches but you always can polish it with any plastic polishes:)

These flowers are alive right? How old is your the oldest one youve made and has it ever started to brown or rot inside the resin? Im just curious how a live flower holds up after being casted!

No, the flowers not alive, they are complitely dried! You are right the fresh flowers always will change their color if cast them in to resin. Resin doesn't like any moisture in.

When I use silicone moulds the resin doesn't come out shiny. How do I polish it up so that it shines? When it's dull you can't see the detail as well. P.S. Your work is beautiful :)

Henley Phoenix it depends of the quality of a mold that you're used. With alamould.com molds you'll be always have a smooth and shiny resin items and you won't be do an additional finishing work.

Hi, Your work is amazing but I keep watching the videos and you don't show how to do anything but pour the resin in. What about the top that is overflowing with resin? do you just leave it or wipe it off ? and what about the edges when it comes out of the mold do you sand it down some how and with what? I am just not understanding how to finish it off?

You have to finish the raw edges if you had overflow resin. I didn't show that because I didn't have it.
