My husband passed on a few years ago and I was sitting by my jewelry box just devastated today thinking about the fact that most of our resin jewelry pieces have become so scratched or dulled that they no longer have any brilliance. I was thinking of the fact that I'll never see him make a new piece again when this video came across my timeline and gave me SO much hope! I'm going to order your entire set and for the first time in years, start crafting again! It makes me so happy to know that I can still get our old pieces to look ALMOST good as new. However, I'm assuming that if the piece was cured poorly and is too soft, it won't have as much of an effect? Thanks in advance and I love your videos!
@LittleWindowsResin2 ай бұрын
Oh I'm so glad I could help! Please let me know how your polishing turns out. Know that you really have to put all the pressure you can so it doesn't take forever to do each one. And yes, if your piece is soft it may not work as well, but you can always try putting it in your freezer for a while, then polishing it right away. Worth a try! Very best wishes, fran@little-windows.com

I am brand new to the resin art hobby. I like coasters. But, I made a pretty neat tray looking thing. Problem is now the whole piece never cured all the way. Hi LittleWindowsResin! I was wondering if the Flitz polish had been tried on polymer clay pieces to polish them in conjunction with sanding. I am looking for a safe polish to get my polymer clay pieces shiny. Thanks so much for your excellent videos! I learn so much about resin from you and your products are great! ❤
@LittleWindowsResin7 жыл бұрын
Hello Michelle! I just did a test to see how it would work, and while it does give the polymer clay a bit more luster, it also rubs some of the color/clay off on the polishing cloth, so I'm not sure this is the best option. If you email me at fran@little-windows.com, I'll be happy to send you photos of my results so you can see how it worked. Maybe more extensive testing by a better polymer artist is called for. Have you tried coating your polymer pieces with a thin layer of resin?

Hi Devon! I don't because it usually only happens when the pieces get abraded, scratched up from being in a pocket or packed with sharp things, or if harsh chemicals get on the surfaces.
