Welcome to my new series "Aunty's Kitchen"
I would like to introduce Aunty Zameedah, She's my friend Rasheen's mom.
Today aunty showed me how she makes her /sawine the way she learned from her mom. I really hope you guys enjoy the video and new series.

Here is an average idea on what I believe these measurements can be, come on guys....go easy on me.... we both know moms and auntys don't use precise measurements lol
2 cups Parched Vermicelli/ Sawine
4 Cups Water
1 Pack ground Cinnamon (4 Tbsp)
1 stick whole cinnamon stick
1 Tbsp Mixed Essence
4 cloves
1 cup almonds
1 cup cherries
1 cup raisins
1 cup prunes
2 cups condensed milk
2 cups evaporated milk

Excellent recipe! One question can you ask Aunty where she purchase the pot, so unique I never seen it selling in Chaguanas or Couva and that’s a big town, thanks!
