I always watch your videos at least 3 times whilst sewing to make sure I never miss anything, I love the way you use the camera as a mental diary sometimes. Makes me feel like I know you in person when you are spitting your thoughts out, sometimes it’s just nice to feel like your not at home alone! Hope you have fun on your holiday x

Just found your channel. I am a retired nurse, that loves to sew. You commented on your rotary cutter and that the blades were from Aliexpress and maybe that was the problem. Save your wrists and buy quality tools. There is a blade labeled Endurance that is supposed to last 3x longer. You are worth it. I dream about having a Juki, but I do use Endurance blades!

Being born in Tasmania and raised in QLD, I would recommend you go to a little cafe in New Norfolk (TAS) it's a beautiful little place and their chocolate brownies are amazing! Plus the town reminds me of something you'd see on a post card and idk where you'll be going in QLD but if you go up north (like the table lands ) check out Milla Milla Falls it's absolutely stunning definitely somewhere I would recommend to anyone to go to if you want to see a beautiful waterfall

Hi Taylah hope your doing well. I hope you can help me. I was about to send a mail today like 5 scrunchies but when i went to post office i ask how much is postage even if i use my own pacakging they charge for $9 something to send locally. What do you use to pay flat rate shipping? Please help thanks
@TaylahRose2 жыл бұрын
Hi Michelle, check out my auspost shipping video it may help you. $9 is standard for tracked parcel but you may be able to ship your scrunchies in an envelope depending on thickness. They need to be under 2cm. Plastic cellophane bags are best to squish scrunchies to put in envelopes or purchase some envelope box mailers. To ship this way it usually costs $2.20 domestic but has no tracking. You can also get tracked green envelopes that are $5-6 but again need to be under 2cm thick. Hope this helps

I love watching your videos, they’ve been a big part of me starting my own accessories brand but saying this with the most love I wish you’d put music over the sound of the sped up bits, I don’t know why, the noise really sets me on edge 😅😭

Have fun on your holiday! I do have one question though, as an Etsy seller, how do you make sure that all the fabric you use (with prints on them) are copyright free and may be used to resell?

Taylah I have been watching your videos and they are so informative . Can I ask please with your Gazebo with Altegra - the compact one - is it the steel or alumimum one
@TaylahRose2 жыл бұрын
It’s the middle one! I think 40mm aluminium. It cost around $900 all up including delivery to me, sides, top and to have it compact 😊 If you have the room I would definitely recommend the normal size tho as I found the compact to be harder to put up by yourself and less stable because of all the joints 💞 I still love it tho and found it much better than my Oztrail deluxe I used to own

What dimensions is the fabric and elastic for the XL scrunchies, please? I want to make some in some in fabrics I've made clothes out of. If I wasn't determined to have them matching I'd order from your store.

Enjoy a well earned holiday. I have tried 5 different types of glue and cannot find any that will stick the elastic. Helmar not available in the UK. Does it have a smell to it? Do you know of an alternative, I am using a seam clip and its a real fiddle to sew! Thanks.

Same question
@TaylahRose2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Helmar does have a pretty strong smell but I’m so used to it I don’t notice it as much anymore, unfortunately I don’t know any other glue alternatives! I know people to use safety pins but I think they would be just as fiddley x
