Making Silkscreen Stencils with Cricut: For Beginners

I have been literally praying for someone to demonstrate how to work with the Cricut machine to make simple silkscreen cookie stencils…you made it approachable, concise and pleasant to watch….I really learned exactly what I needed to know! Thank you for presenting it so simply!!

@@jzacarias2395 Many people will use just the acetate (plastic stencils), which is what I use. Here is a video I did with stenciling with an acetate stencil. It's the same concept for a PYO cookie. Yes I have used plastic stencils that I have purchased. I’ve tried making the PYO plastic stencils, but I am stuck there again with the bridging 😅 I’m a beginner it just gets a bit confusing..

Where do you buy the screening fabric?

Cookie stencils? What does that mean. Can I do the same technique to use on a tshirt with soft scrub bleach?

Hi Rhonda. I''ve never made stencils for t-shirts, but cookie stencils are the plastic or acetate stencils you can get at Walmart, for instance. We call them cookie stencils because they are small enough to use for them. But you can use them for an array of crafts. Hope that helps! Thanks for asking! 😀
