Looks like you guys had the same idea in the same river on the same day. just wish I would of got out before 4pm but still managed a couple and a monster like JT over there. Glad you found a pocket of bigs and make some good memories. The Wabash is a great river to land a PB this time of year.

Great videos… my son and I are driving down from Minneapolis to Florida next week and want to stop on the Tippecanoe or Wabash on the way. I was going to put in to the Tippecanoe just past the Oakdale Dam and float down to SR 18 per one of your other videos… is that a good stretch or do you have other recommendations? Thank you so much again for your videos - fantastic and fun to watch!

Hey Michael, the Tippy is a great river south of Oakdale. I have floated that stretch once and it has some very good spots. It’s a very productive stretch from what I understand. I live close to 18 so that’s generally my put in spot but 2/3 take out south of there are steep rip rap embankment’s. The whole stretch from Oakdale to the Wabash is great, when you find em. You’re gonna love that river, it’s got a good mix of wood and rock.
