Haha yup it's coming soon. I've been so crazy busy with work lately. It took a bit longer than expected. Gonna post them asap though.

If I wanted to do this every day or every other day, how much fruits and vegetables would I have to buy a week?
@ASFx260012 жыл бұрын
It really depends on what you use and how fresh it is. Freshness is very important to get maximum yield, otherwise you'll get very wet pulp and not as much juice. It usually takes between 8-12 oranges to make 1 quart of juice. A whole pineapple also makes around 1 quart. You're right, the juicer also makes a huge difference. The cheaper juicers tend to be much less efficient. It's also best to have the right kind of juicer for what you juice most.

Ginger juices very well. I add it to almost every juice I make! :D

You can juice the oranges with the skin too, but ONLY if it's an organic orange. If you do that, it will make your juice taste bitter though.

That's just the nature of this machine. It creates froth. Once everything goes into the pitcher, i just mix it up and pour it into jars usually.

How much fruit did it take to make the gallon of juice? I have used a juicer in the past but it seemed like I used much more fruit to get the same results. The juicer I had was cheap....maybe that is why huh?

By the way, where did you buy that glass container?

hey mate i notice that you chopped off the skin of a orange can the juicer still juiced all fruits with the skin on because i know some juicers you have to chop the fruit in half and take off the skin and wondering what your juicer is like thanks
@ASFx260012 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply. I'd say it's probbaly because the juicer you used may not have been very efficient. WIth the breville, it takes maybe 10 minutes to make all that juice.

How well did the ginger juice? I'm considering buying one

How long did you store the juice or did you drink it the same day?
@ASFx260011 жыл бұрын
Mixing the juice and pulp back together in a vitamix blender would be the same as just throwing the whole fruit and vegetables into the vitamix from the start. Either way, the juice and fiber/pulp would end up getting blended up into a smoothie.
@ASFx260012 жыл бұрын
Yes, but but those aren't nearly as efficient though. They leave lots of juice stuck in the pulp no matter how hard you twist or smash them.

HOW LONG DOES THIS KEEP IN THE FRIDGE?
@ASFx260012 жыл бұрын
I never store my juice longer than 2 days. I try to drink it all the same day if i can.
@ASFx260011 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't keep it longer than 3 days. I like to try and drink my fresh juice within 2 days so that i don't lose too much nutrition in the juice.

This is a very bad idea, don't ever do this. Breville only juices 40% of pineapple. Juicing orange in Breville is the worst idea, because it takes forever to peel them. I usually put orange without peeling, because even the skin is nutritious. Orange juicer cost 10$, so why not get one of those. Very easy to clear and you get proper orange juice. Breville is not bad for hard fruits and vegetables, not soft. Apparently this guy was new to juicing. And he was really excited about this, so he spend a lot of time, to peel pineapple and orange to juice. Now we have juicers that you don't even need to peel pineapple.
