I thought putting bananas in the blender breaks down all the good in the banana and it just gives you a lot of higher dose of sugar?

The metal of your pan looks about a half an inch thick😊 Something with thinner walls might've cut a couple of minutes off of your boil time😊

I'll second the lid suggestion - so much of your ability to quickly (and efficiently) heat/boil water is reliant on being a mostly closed vessel -- but vented around the edges of the lid for safety. I absolutely guarantee itll boil faster w/lid on.

Looking at one of these second hand. I noticed that there was a little bit of lateral movement (just a little). Is that normal or could the bearings be shot?

Nice to see the power source can handle it, but my gosh is there so much wasted power going on here. As if an electric burner wasn’t inefficient enough. Lol. Good video. Pop a lid on next time.

Hah. Yup I’d definitely add a lid if I was going for max efficiency. But in this test I just wanted to see how the yeti would do with no lid.

one complete charge gives you about an hour cook time. Combined with freeze dried stuff you it would last about 2-3 days of camping

That looks like a really good quality pan, if you wanted to cut the boil time down perhaps try a camping type pan as they are made from thinner metal. Good video, thanks :)

Not for this one, because the test was to see how long it would take to boil the water in a pot without a lid. Doing it with a lit would take a little less time.

*I had one of these before and it lasted many years and I used it a lot. It blends **MyBest.Kitchen** chops ,grates. Does most anything you would want to use it for. A lot of bang for your buck. A litlle loud however it so fast it is not bothersome.*

Is it safe to saw only the 1000w generators can only run electric burners ? Do you prefer propane camping after your results with the generator n electric burner
@ASFx2600
@ASFx2600 3 жыл бұрын
I would not get much less than the 1000w yeti, because it has an inverter that can handle the power draw of an electric burner (1500w continuous, 3000w surge). Smaller units with smaller inverters may not be able to handle the initial burst and continuous power that burners draw, and you might trip the fuse. Most electric burners use 1000w-1500w of continuous power. I do like propane and butane too, but those fuel sources can run out. It's nice knowing i can charge the yeti with solar panels and have endless power as long as I have sunlight available

It maybe a good test. Gas would be faster. But it's not renewable. I'm wondering how much energy to cook a couple of hamburgers. Are how many hamburgers you can cook before you run out of power to run the hot plate. Thank good information.

Can’t believe here sitting watching water boil. 🤣 on a serious thought, I did not consider a waste of my 10 minutes. Actually I find it very helpful. I just bought the burner because it’s $13 at best buy, now I’m on a quest to get the Yeti Goal Zero and the “SOLAR” module.. - just to cook a $2.00 Sr McDougal Ramen 🍜 salurrrrp sarap!

I like to drink mine right out of the blender, 3 bananas, scoop of protein powder, or unsweetened cocoa , maybe a dash of frozen spinach or frozen blueberries. I am blending about 9 bananas a day. Love it. Especially its hot out and I want to have something cool to prevent sleeping muscle cramps from being dehydrated in the july virginia heat.

I recently broke off the bolting buds on my collard plants. Are they still edible at this stage? Also does it effect the taste. We are having early bolts due to warmer winter weather....Thank you
@ASFx2600
@ASFx2600 4 жыл бұрын
They are still edible, but once the bolting process has begun, you can only slow it down by cutting off the bolting parts. The leaves will still grow more bitter as the days go on during the bolting phase, so you can stop eating them once they're too bitter.
