This is a great tutorial. I've been toying with Synthwave for the past 5 years. Your detailed explanation of each part of the process is perfect. Respect!!

Nice, deep and humorous, yet succinct and straight to the point - wish there were more similar Reason youtube channels. Keep up the great work! :)

Hey legend, I was wondering if you were going to make some new videos on Reason 12? I’m not sure if you upgraded or not but would love to hear what’s new production tips you got. Keep up the good work!
@itsdjQuasar3 жыл бұрын
I haven’t updated. Not going to until they have finished their projected updates. I’m also a little peeved they haven’t updated the sequencer whatsoever. Got a new video coming, though. Stay tuned!

Hey man great video and thanks for sharing your production process. I've dabbled in REASON for years but I recently started using it again and I want to make some synthwave songs. Thanks for sharing your process and the VSTs that you use. Super helpful! Do you have you an album that I could check out? Currently I'm into FM-84, DroidBishop, Timecop and Dreamkid.

I don't have an album. It's funny cause I don't know a ton about synthwave artists but I love making the music. I'll check these guys out! Thanks!

Ohh man! Just when you get through one stage... i forgot all about wiring up the rear ends. Im in the works of devloping that switch on the tops as it phases to the next beat. Very good! Thats for making this so in depth!

Since I can't find the Soundtoys, TAL CHorus, Kickstart 64bit in the Reason store, how do I install them and where to find them?
@itsdjQuasar2 жыл бұрын
They are all VSTs. (Third party plugins) You can get the Tal chorus from their website for free. Kickstart is available for purchase (pretty cheap if I remember correctly.) Soundtoys on the other hand… wait for it to go on sale around Black Friday. Good luck!
