I remember when Malmström came with the v.3 update. It was a real gamechanger! In Reason 1.0 we had nearly nothing,lol. Then 1.5 came , and it had rv7000 and i think Scream distortion too. Then V.3 gave us Malmström. I still use Malmström almost in every tune. You can get the best staccato type sounds out of it.
@itsdjQuasar18 сағат бұрын
Looking back…. They have been ahead of the curve the whole time. You mentioned scream and it is STILL my favorite distortion. All of their synths are still relevant. When was the last time anyone used Sylenth or massive? Still using reasons first synth (subtractor) to this day! Thanks for watching!

I had a go at this using my Yamaha CS30 analogue synth's 8 note sequencer with a bit of delay, it was never going to be exactly the same for the reasons you state at the beginning of your video, took me half an hour, and when i played it to my mates the said ' bloody hell, that's i feel love by Donna Summer. Saves a lot of messing around with MIDI and DAW's and all that crap.

Hey man great video and thanks for sharing your production process. I've dabbled in REASON for years but I recently started using it again and I want to make some synthwave songs. Thanks for sharing your process and the VSTs that you use. Super helpful! Do you have you an album that I could check out? Currently I'm into FM-84, DroidBishop, Timecop and Dreamkid.

I don't have an album. It's funny cause I don't know a ton about synthwave artists but I love making the music. I'll check these guys out! Thanks!
