***** You'd be lucky to get ANY audio of this let alone better than here. I highly doubt the BBC even have this footage any more. The BBC had a terrible habit of reusing tapes and erasing hundreds of hours of classic programming just to save money on new tapes.

+CowLunch They'd stopped doing that by the early 80s. From what I've seen, I'll be surprised if this is missing. They've certainly uploaded one episode to iPlayer (perhaps that was the one they had to pull out when they were making Micro Men). Re the audio, it's odd, it sounds like a digital cut-out. Perhaps there's something in the audio path that's detecting excess static and just cutting the audio out rather than letting it play. I feel if that were removed, although it might get a bit annoying for headphone users, it would be more watchable.

A microcomputer, the predecessor to what we now call Personal Computer (PC). But in my country 'micro' is short for microwave oven 😆
