From about 12:00 they are showing the Robocom Bitstik CAD System version 1.1. I worked there and helped develop it. The next version the Bitstik 1000 was a lot better and available for BBC Micro and the Acorn Tube.

Those 3D generated images from those main frame computers were amezing and really ahead of it's time, it's funny how they tryed to push skelete 3D images on an 8bit machine wich ofcourse were just individual frames , but still they were impressive.

I think this would be great for someone starting off in graphics. Simple Flash animation still works with inbetweens (Tweens)

The most i ever did on these graphic wise was to use the word processer and used space and letters and numbers to draw a pic!

I can't for the life of me remember which of my BBC games it was, I know it was one of them and I'm sure it will come to me when I'm least expecting it to - but I know there was one computer game on the BBC that I used to play which *did* generate its graphics in the way described early in the show... naturally this meant the graphics took far longer to load - but were considerably realistic once they did.
