I'm sorry if this is not to everyone's thinking but I love the home zoom episodes, you got us through covid times, it's so cosy, please would you consider keeping doing them?

What a beautiful colourful animated roundel, a fantastic job ,well done to everyone 🌈☯️❤️

I think the roundel looks great. I think it keeps the history with a modern twist. I also think the animated logo at the start of the video with Chris’s music builds really nicely.

That was exceptionally enjoyable for me for a number of reasons. First of all I love the dynamic between the four of you. You are clearly genuine friends with an abiding affection and respect for each other. It was that coupled with your obvious knowledge and enthusiasm of all things Underground that kept me going through lockdown. Stuck, as I was, either on a ship for work or an isolation. This time out was nostalgic for me as you are all in your individual houses. I really like the new sign. I think it works on many levels to achieve it's stated aims and the colours are incredible. It was very interesting to me to see the tig welding. I do tig welding as part of my job. In fact today I was constructing a pipework system for an argon gas feed to a Tig welder on the ship I'm working on. Thanks again for cheering me up, keeping me going and educating me. More power to the four of you.

Awesome show. Very interesting and enjoyable. Sau-Fun was so good too. Clearly very enthusiastic about her “baby” and very articulate on camera too.

It is cool to know the museum is changing. It will give me an excuse to come visit next time I'm back in the UK. I enjoyed my visit in June.

A couple of years ago I took some photographs of Newbury Park bus station; these photographs were shot on black and white film. One of the pictures includes the roundel outside the station. There is obviously no colour in these pictures, but when I look at the roundel I can often see a very slight trace of red and blue. I can only think that my brain is trying to fill in the colours which it expects to be there.

Great episode, love the new roundell and more importantly how proud you all are of it, you guys are so dedicated. Next time I visit the UK I want to visit the museum, see you have fans from abroad, miss the tube very much, have a great Sunday all of you and thanks again

Started watching this on Sunday morning but then saw how gorgeous it is especially with your shades on so I am going to save it for this afternoon after a Sunday roast in Shoreditch. Can’t wait

I like it, the animation catches your eye, then you see the word museum, perfect.

I've got the printed version of the museum roundel sitting here, on the Patron's Circle handout given out in mid-June. Lovely to hear Sau-Fun explain the thinking with such enthusiasm. The animated version is an interesting departure! The concept of ''Museum' on the roundel is great, athough in printed form a single colour may be more effective, such as the suggested gold.

Brilliant episode! I think the processes used by AJ Wells are fascinating! More of that, yes please. I will reserve my opinion of the new multicoloured roundel though as it will be an unpopular comment, sorry, but I will keep an open mind until I see the museum's new sign 'in the flesh' as it were. The thing is, personally I don't think anything can beat the solid red vibrant nature of the type of roundel now seen on signs at newer Tube stations. When you go back to AJ Wells, please include a short clip of the old, but newly refurbished, Tube stock on the Island Line. I mean you have to, don't you?!

Think the new sign looks rather splendid - a certain living quality to something animated and lovely vibrant colours. Getting a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes manufacturing - also cool 😊

The new sign is a beauty! I love the vibrant ever changing swirl of colours, and a glimpse in to the design and manufacturing process. Did you visit the steam railway while you were over there? Sorry I missed the live, I was up to my ears in gardening and diy!

Sorry guys, but the new sign doesn't do anything for me. Being a child of the 60's I grew up with the traditional-coloured London Transport logo.
@AquaFonic5 ай бұрын
ITS ALL THE COLOURS OF THE LONDON UNDERGROUND blended in I’m also a child of the 60’s and I ain’t moaning like YOU !!! It’s brilliant ITS NOT REPLACING ALL just outside the museum 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 I bet you thought it was a PRIDE ONE EH WOW
@jacksugden81905 ай бұрын
I agree, looked like something representative of Gay Pride.

There were always different coloured roundels. Don't forget it is not just the London Underground Museum and it's not just the London Busses Museum. Having said that, I would have also liked a solid gold roundel.
@jacksugden81905 ай бұрын
Too old now team, logo needs revising to reflect modern times, all trains, buses, tube stations and it’s contractors should now sport the ‘TfL’ title, it’s not too late to change, think that the temple bar and griffin has now had its day.
@alexgrundon23465 ай бұрын
It does tho. It contains every colour of every mode of transport in London.
@jacksugden81905 ай бұрын
@@alexgrundon2346Needs a new approach with a reality check for 10 years of TfL with simply the letters ‘TfL’ on the sides of buses, tube, overground trains + stations and stationery, as the logo is now outdated. If they wanted, I could rebrand their corporate image to bring it into 2024.
