Acton Depot is a brilliant place, the last visit was the first time I met Geoff as well. Do remember that pretty well as it was for a book signing and I was in the queue, when it was my turn walked up to the table and Geoff was looking down, he looked up, saw me and said 'YOU!' and after that had a quick chat, was quick as there was a long queue which is understandable. Really enjoyed the video and was fun to watch and love to see more projects like this in the future. Maybe the DLR as a suggestion?

I enjoyed the video just as much the 2nd time around. It still looks like a lot of time, and effort went into production of the line. You can really see just how much fun the project was. But spending the evenings cutting out all those colored papers is either pure devotion or maybe a little madness, but then maybe a project like that requires a little of both, lol. I promise I will reopen my Lego London box from Christmas and actually finish building my Lego London. It is a must finish project now. I can hardly ignore it after you built the whole tube map. But I draw the line at all the brown paper to represent the River Thames separating the Tower of London, Big Ben, and the London Eye. Lol

This is the ultimate Lego Tube Nerd model. But if you can get even more people, more tracks, and a soccer field or similar, it would be even more amazing to do the ENTIRE tube network, plus the Elizabeth Line, Overground, and DLR.

Instead of raising a complete line you could have raised and lowered them in the actual what goes over or under which and where. Just had a thought, repeat it inside clear plastic tubes then it will be a tube map.
@paulkennedy87015 ай бұрын
They could have if they weren't going to runs trains. The tracks could have lain just over (or just under) others, as the Bakerloo, Piccadilly and Jubilee lines do in what they built. However, raising and lowering tracks by the height of the trains would make some slopes impossibly steep.
