Thank you for making a video of the bag, I've had the pattern since it's release but it looked way harder, this will help. Also you might be interested to know there's rivet bag feet (you use the rivet press to set them). Another youtuber uses them, she also sells them.

Lauren, I finally bought this pattern after watching your video about a dozen times. I am proficient at garment construction but bags.. We'll see.. I have a printed vinyl I'd like to use as the center panels. Could I use waterproof canvas for the sides? If so, should I interface it to beef it up? Thanks for your tutorials.

Hi Jo! You could definitely use WPC for the sides! I don’t think it would need interfacing. If you want you could try foam!

I've watched this video maybe four or five times hahaha! The last time I made this bag I think vinyl I use was too thick for the straps and they kept pulling together hard to explain but the badge kept pulling in maybe I'll just use all cotton fabric for the straps for my next one ... I'm a little nervous about sewing another don't want to mess it up😬😅
