I srsrly loved this challenge! I did make jewelry in my teens. It was a big thing for me, it def reliefs stress for us introverts who love to have some nice me time, you should try it out! Also its very obvious that beckys is real gold but kelseys also looked amazing!! So i say win win for both! I'd totally sub for a jewelry making yt channel tho 😁😂

The necklaces are beautiful, but you got really ripped off on that rose quartz :/ I used to work at a store that sold stones, and I would expect a piece like that to cost maybe $5. All types of quartz (rose quartz, amethyst, citrine, etc) are usually cheap because they're so common.

$40 for a small piece of rose quartz? That's ridiculous. If I'm spending that much on a piece of rose quartz, it better be half-covered in gold. Rose quartz is plentiful and is not expensive. Sorry to say it, but you got ripped off. As for the rest of the video? Great idea. I'm looking forward to more.

I totally love this series, and appreciate you showing both sides. I just wish you would approach the dupes in a more positive way. You went into the DIY already hating and disregarding the idea, just because it wasn't real gold. I actually liked the way both of them came out, and Becky was right, they came out really similar to each other. Give your self some credit when it comes to DIYing with less expensive material. Not everyone can afford to buy the real gold, and it would be nice to see some enthusiasm for attempting the alternatives. I love reusing my old jewelry to make newer, and more trendier ones. I have no shame in doing it and take pride in saying I made it myself. It can be tedious, especially the small pieces, but it's fun and allows me to showcase my creativity. Thank you for providing the content and inspiration people like myself need, to DIYing on a budget.

I actually would prefer the cheaper one, I like the mix of metals and the how it's a bit bolder with the pieces being bigger. Absolutely love you guys!

As a jewelry maker you both did a great job, once you get bitten by the jewelry making bug you will want to check out jewelry at any thrift store and imagine how to take it apart and make a new piece out of it,I would have recommended a simple diy cleaning of the chains and charms before use of the thrift store pieces and you may have been even more surprised at the final results.Great job ladies!
