Hey Reynolds, I’m about to be a sophomore in highschool and have never been able to decide on something to do for a career. And as I get older I’m losing the time to get an idea. I then stumbled upon your channel last week and saw your talks about how you never knew you wanted to be a teacher and that you wanted to do many other things and all that jazz. As I was listening to you I realized that i related to you a lot and I wanted to thank you for helping me discover that perhaps I should be a teacher.

Well if this isn’t the best comment I ever got? Something that’s hard to understand until you are older is that there is TONS of time. Like I’ve said before I had no idea what I wanted to do and it really worked my family. The funny part is that now they 1. Can’t believe I’m a teacher and 2. Have exactly zero idea how the whole KZbin thing works 😂 Please keep me in mind as you continue your journey. You can send me an email anytime at realrapwithreynolds@gmail.com and I’d be happy to help. Peace❤️

I love the over-sized Post-it note pads....I wish we could get supplies like the ones you mentioned at our school, here in The Bahamas.

I'm also a high school English teacher, and this is my new favorite channel. I wish I worked with you at my school BUT watching your videos makes up for that great loss

I can't believe that I just found your videos today!!! Number 9 is the most important. I teach the primary grades, k-3 and love that it is fun. The past 2 years with all the covid protocols it has not been fun. I am looking forward to fun this school year. We are finally allowed to sit in groups again and we are getting a large floor mat to replace the rug. I can't wait to sit on the floor and play games with the students.

I found you just in time. I’m starting my teaching career, my 4th career. I need your channel and will watch as much as possible as fast as possible. Thank you so much.

We don’t start for a bit, but having already followed these steps as a third year teacher has helped immensely. Thanks for the extra tips!

Tess, I REALLY appreciate you stepping out and leaving this compliment. We do all of this work in private and have no idea how it is helping people. Especially all the way in Holland! Side note: We used to have some really Wonderful friends that were from Holland. They always loved wearing orange and putting chocolate sprinkles on their toast. it was the best! My best to you this year!

My students hate that I have hard copies of everything. Where I teach, our internet is horrible. We had to go remote due to an ice storm last year for a week or so and my students couldn't use the excuse of no power because 3/4 of my work was a hard copy. :)
@CJReynolds2 жыл бұрын
I know it’s not the best thing for the earth but it saves me a lot of stress and it since almost no one does hard copies anymore it’s become kind of retro which is really fun.

I will be teaching in Hungary. I heard that internet is slow in schools AND paper is a scare commodity (expensive). Thankfully, school will print anything I need for my IELTS class so I have no worries about keeping originals at school and home (I've experienced lockdowns so keeping originals at home saved me).

Going to get some more clear boxes! Also need a peg board like yours. Great video reynolds!

Staples has great boxes. The pegboard is from IKEA. I would build a whole wall of them if I could. They are incredible!

I’d enjoy a video of you getting a cut and if your barber has kids ask them to share parent perspective of teachers. Some sort of dialect between you two. Keep making great content and congrats on the sponsor!

Hi Reynolds! I was curious about something. Do you still shake kids' hands post-covid / have you found any creative ways to still do that one on one connection as kids enter the room without touching? Thanks!
@reinacarol57372 жыл бұрын
With my younger learners, they can choose: fist bump, dance with me, silly smiles. For high school kids: fist bump, teach me a slang word or at least a smile
