I'm in love with the double female adapters. I find myself adding one to every order even if I don't need them. So useful. Thank you for this video.

Hhuuummm great tips. Not sure if I'm going to find thous in Brazil, but will definitely search. Just one question. Is it possible that variation on temperature (like at diferente seasons) can cause future misalignment?

TCSS blade holders will hold most any 1" blade. In extreme cases you may need to sand a blade down slightly to make it fit the way you want. But that is rare.

Rob Petkau I got a 1.5 inch sink tube adapter. I was just wondering if those were supposed to go inside or outside of my sink tube?

Hopefully you still check these 8 years later 😅 I’m trying to sand down a blade holder according to your instructions and using a single smaller diameter clocking washer on the LED module, but it seems no matter how much I sand it doesn’t seem to affect the orientation of the hole at all… I’m using standard 220 grit sandpaper. What are the odds it’s the sandpaper I’m using that’s the issue? You sand for a few seconds and get movement. I’ve sanded for 10 seconds and not moved a millimeter as far as I can tell.

Hey David, we do! Align without the can in place first. After that, put the can in and if it changes alignment, sand the can itself.

Hi i have a question, Is there a chance that if you sand too much that it won't fit snug anymore? because te male adapter doesnt change lenght/size and the female does.

ultrasaber blades are slightly larger than TCSS as they come from different suppliers, so they do not fit MHS blade sockets without either sanding the blade or enlarging the blade socket.

Thanks - I did not know that.

Is it possible to request holes through thread joints? And if so would that be a way to match parts ?

Is there an intent to make a saber wrapping tutorial? Because that would be amazing haha

Not presently. Do you mean leather wrapping?

Hopefully you see this and can answer. What if you have a part that threads into another part, and the other part has a larger outer diameter, so they don't rest against each other externally, meaning you can't line them up by the sanding method shown in this video. Also, the part that fits into the other is thin enough that clocking washers simply push over the thinner part when threading the two parts together. How would you approach this? Any help is appreciated, thank you.

There are 2 sizes of clocking washer. Make sure you have the right ones. I recommend posting this on the forums with pictures of your parts.

Hey quick question will the blade holder hold a ultrasaber blade
@BanesBasement4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, Ultrasabers has 1" blades, and MHSv1/MHSv2 Blade Holders hold 1" outer diameter blades. If the fit is snug you can sand the blade a bit, but the more you use the blade in that blade holder the better it'll fit over time.

Does this method also work if you are sanding the male end also? Or does this have to be with the female end?
