The cells of a caterpillar have genes that activate when they're in the pod and that makes the caterpillar cells become stem cells (the goo) that can multiply and transform into an adult butterfly cell, similarly to how an embryo becomes a human. They do something called “hot reading” where they look a person up on the internet right before they see the person. Even if you have most of you social media private, there is still quite a bit of information about you. It would be super easy to figure out a seemingly “random” fact based on the slightly lesser known fact that Erik loves baseball. They also make broad statements like “I sense a connection to the month of April” and play off of your reactions. It’s honestly not that hard to do if you know how to read body language. Psychics start practicing young so that it becomes second nature and seems like they can actually read the future

An easier way to do the foam thing is to just put shaving cream on a tray and play with it. My mom used it to teach us to write letters, our name, and numbers. U can also add food coloring if u want to. My sister is sensory and we all had trouble focusing and didn’t want to write our letters normally so my mom had us do that.

Colleen, if you worry about using food coloring in activities for Flynn you might try liquid water colors. We used them in our preschool for everything you might use food coloring for (not counting cooking and baking of course). The colors are vibrant, easy to use, and generally more washable than food coloring.
