Soy and Shea

A patron has set me the challenge of making a unicorn soap but I couldn't find a mould I liked for the ears and horn so I pulled the soap dough out and discovered how easy they are to make.
Thank you for watching

I used to do this with gumpaste and fondant for cupcakes. In some ways soap dough and gumpaste or fondant are very similar. Great job Keeley

🦄 Such a cuteness design! A very good 3D design. I have the mini silicone molds but they don’t have that complete all the way around design. Love it! 🦄

those are really cute! My mind went into overdrive watching this, the "ears" could easily be turned into flower petals and succulents and the horns into spiral sea shells!

I finally made my first batch of sough dough! Today is the 2nd day after it was made, but the dough is still tacky. It sticks to my gloves when I knead it. Is there any way to fix it? Or the texture will be better if i wrap it in cling wrap, and cure for few weeks? Thanks!!!

When I make soap dough, I usually wrap and wait at least 4-5 days before using. If its still sticky, I leave on the side unwrapped and check each day. I don't usually use gloves as I find they cause issues.
