Nice job Keith. Like a few others who are watching... I haven't had vinyl in my house for decades. It made me smile a few months back when Peter Millard couldn't even find a CD in his house LOL.

I think vinyl is probably more popular that CDs nowadays, shops have started selling them again - albeit much less popular than back in the day. I stopped buying physical versions of music a long time ago though, partly an age thing I think and partly because of streaming services being too convenient!

Upvoted primarily for the Sleater-Kinney record, but that stand was pretty cool too though. :-)

Another great video, always balanced between quick and informative. Soothing on the eye and brain after a difficult day. Thanks for more inspiration... I admire your core principles of recycling and squeezing the last out of others "chuck it in the skip" mentality.

Hi Keith, you say the band saw can resaw timber just as well as the table saw, can it also do narrow rips just like the table saw? I'm a beginner wood worker and have neither (just hand tools). I want to get one or the other and thinking the bandsaw would be the better choice, more safer, more versatile. Would you reccomend then bandsaw over the table saw to a beginner?
@RagnBoneBrown
@RagnBoneBrown 5 жыл бұрын
Yes it can cut thin strips. A well set up bandsaw with the right blade will cut very accurately, but not as accurately as a table saw because the blade in it can deflect left or right depending on the wood grain etc, whereas a table saw blade is more rigid. The table saw blade also leaves a cleaner cut. The bandsaw is still an excellent choice though and as you say more safe and versatile especially if you want to cut a lot of curves 👍

Yes they were my favourite band although I was too young to ever see them in their “prime”. I got in to them about the time when Tarantula came out, a lot of people don’t like that album but I think it’s pretty good 😂

@@RagnBoneBrown not a million miles from my experience too. Including missing a gig that went down as one of their career best because I wasn't that bothered to go in to Dublin with my friends. These days plenty of tracks from Today Forever and Going Blank Again are still in regular circulation in my main Spotify lists - and two from Taratula n'all!

About a decade ago Norwich had several really good crate digging spots - as did Bournemouth surprisingly? Were great for finding absolute gems for a few quid rather than the inflated prices at big city digging spots. Recent visits though have seen Nowich and Bournemouth lose their best spots. Still one or two going though!

Great video btw. Kieth, iv recently bought a 15' x 10' shed as a workshop as im getting into woodworking as a hobby, because my grandad has been a woodworker since he was a teen, and iv always been a hands on guy so i figured id follow in his footsteps. Anyway, i wondering if you've ever had any issues with mice/rats? if so how did you deal with the issue, iv had a look at some copper mesh and thinking of placing that along the wall of the workshop then putting the insulation over the top so the rats cant even get as far as the insulation but thats just an idea. I just wanted to hear if you had any advice? Anyway i love the videos, keep up the good work.
