Nice product, but using your miter slide AND the fence at the same time is very dangerous. Please keep yourself safe so you can make more cool stuff!

Cool design. Some pretty unsafe table saw practices going on.

Folks! PLEASE do NOT use a miter gauge AND the fence on your table saw at the same time.. this is VERY dangerous. If you need something to reference against, use a stop block between your workpiece and the fence to reference the workpiece, then there will be a gap between the workpiece and the fence as you push the miter gauge towards the spinning blade. When you do it the way it was done in the opening of this video, there's is a good chance that the workpiece, which is wedged between the fence and the spinning blade, could shift slightly and cause the blade to shoot the workpiece towards you. There are plenty of yt videos out there that explain this. Please, for your own safety, check it out. One of my son in laws did something similar and got 3 of his fingers sliced pretty good, fortunately it's healed up nicely though he still lacks some feeling. Please guys, let's have fun with our projects but let's do what we can to keep it safe.

At 0:47 right? After reading the comments I noticed that, and he did use a piece holder for the last piece anyway!

Poster is absolutely right in what and how they described the danger involved in how this was executed. That being said, this method is common for repetitive cuts on a table saw., however, the fence must be shortened or pulled back to a position behind the blade where the fence acts as a stop for the size of the piece only. If the fence extends into the blade area, kick-back will more than likely occur. I once saw a guy knocked right off his feet from being struck in the lower belly from kick-back from a 10 h.p. 16" saw. Left deep purple bruises and he was lucky at that. If one cannot pull their fence back for repetitive cuts on their saw, clamp a piece of wood to the fence behind the blade and adjust the sizing accordingly.

I definitely agree with the previous build issues that were pointed out. However, I can use the concept to allow my iPhone to lay on its side for video viewing and channel the iPhone speaker output thanks for sharing

Please use a push stick instead of using your hand near the cutting blade. I cringed when I saw your hand next to the spinning blade.
