Very nice process. I am wondering if it easy to cut with a jigsaw coz I don't have a scroll saw

Give it a a try. Might be hard to hold/cut small pieces with an electric jig saw. A manual coping saw might work better?

I kinda like the 5 lobe-good balance between drilling and cutting. When I make more, I think I’ll try a hardwood. The Baltic birch sometimes had some chip out on the back side.

@@brianweekley5700 I came across about 100 maple library shelves for next to nothing. That's my source for good knobs. I leave the dark finish on the top and bottom, sand the lobes and round them over like you with my router. Hardwood is better I think.

Thanks. Many, many years ago before digital cameras, I worked in a professional photo lab developing color prints and also paid for my college as a wedding photographer. Sorry, I must have deleted that Sketchup file, but it's easy to draw with the protractor tool.
