Which Tim Wells dart does that? I've been hunting with a cold steel blowgun for a long time. You have given me lots to work with for making darts myself. for the mold, I couldn't get a good cone from a can, so I got a plum bob and it works perfect for paper and plastic.

He has a tutorial video making these in a barn using anything he can find for survival situation. But I further refined his darts with hdpe cone. Yes, you can use a plum bob too. Any conical shaped objects should do it.

I have much faith in screw head stun darts because I killed a large rat in my toilet with it, shot from a .50cal copper pipe about 20years ago. That rat was hit in the middle of the chest, dropped down lifeless.. Brought in my feral cat to clean it up, left a trail of blood where the cat carried it, heart was probably still beating. Now with my new 15mm pipe and huge screws....wonder how will that be.. Yeah that Hunting for Hearts guy, I've watched him. But don't like how he handles the injured birds though. Other huntings are ethical shots like the monkeys. Edit: I will bring along something heavy and solid like a mallet or a heavy wood chopper blade and smash the fatally wounded prey. I recently smashed a rat's head using that wood chopper, instant kill. No more suffering

Make sure you use eye protection. Striking two pieces of hardened steel together like that could end in one shattering ! Had a friend who lost an eye. Put the safety glasses on ! …..

man, this is really cool. it's like a broadhead, only smaller. my advice to you: make a broadhead out of tin can bottom. cut off the bottom of the can with metal scissors and make a broadhead like an isosceles triangle, with a base of 1 cm and a length of 2 cm. Split the stick a little and stick this broadhead there and fill it with glue. By the way, you and I used to talk about the laws on knives and machetes and discussed the combat trench shovel of the USSR. can you try to start shooting from a slingshot professionally? I recommend small, all-metal slingshots from aliexpress on flat rubber. they are the most accurate.

Yeah, I remember you! The Russian combat shovel guy! KZbin buried uour comment under Held for Review, I just noticed it.. Well, since I'm not hunting any animals, hence I never make serious razor broadheads. I'm mostly destroying inanimate objects, just like what Jorg Sprave does. I have quite a number of slingshots actually, Jorg Sprave Dankung Panther, The Chinese stainless steel Dankung, Saunders Falcon 2 from Usa, Barnett Black Widow, and several custom made wooden boardcut by an elderly American friend. I shoot lead balls only.

Max distance tested can reach around 40metres with bamboo and these slim steel darts, aimed at 60degree angle upwards. Effective kill range is only about 10m+ I once hit a balloon aimed at 50degree angle, 30metres away..
