I agree. Henry Cahill is definitely the embodiment of Superman, post Mr. Christopher Reeve. I've made up my mind to dislike every actor attempting the role henceforth. Affleck surprised me as Batman. He was fantastic as Bruce Wayne as well as the Caped Crusader. Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck...Christopher Reeve and Henry Cavill. Done.

In my opinion the best Batman trilogy is easily Nolan’s - it’s actually the only cohesive Batman trilogy. If you mean recent film trilogy I would still have Star Wars, LOTR, Avengers, Spider Man homecoming trilogy, back to the future, Indiana jones Spielberg trilogy over this slightly messy ‘forced’ DCU universe - Justice League directors cut is better and Man Of Steel was ‘o.k’ Best Superman - I’m afraid not, Cavill doesn’t have the acting range of Reeves - his duality between Clark & Superman is non existent🤷🏿‍♂️ I don’t know what he’s about as Clark? Not a clue? Yes he wears glasses. Best Batman? Affleck actually was a better Bruce Wayne - very believable but Keaton & Bale are still far more ahead - Snyder is a class, visionary director but he was put in a position of pioneering an entertainment narrative strategy and that’s not his strength (he’s clearly and probably one of the most visually striking super hero filmmakers ever - granted no argument. But Kevin Feige is just a creative producer pioneer who revolutionised how audiences view superhero movies and changes Hollywood - that’s not Snyder and regrettably he was suddenly tasked with helming a panicked responsive DCU which I don’t think was his best skillset. Before Feige came George Lucas who also changed the game and Hollywood.

This is the progress of making the film. This isn’t the film where the special effects, cgi & action sequences are fixed with post. Obviously you aren’t gonna be like “oh my goddddd, that’s so crazyyyyy, whoaaaaa so realistic. How’d he do that” when all you’re seeing is the choreography of the fight scenes & the cameras following them without the musics slowly getting more intense & the color grading that the cameras add & also the background & the angle that make the hits look like they’re actually connecting. If you want that type of thing, I suggest the UFC or Parkour, those are real types of dangerous acts where they don’t fix anything in Post because it’s basically what “reality tv” aims to be

The level of sheer acting with what you can’t see or hear physically would have to be probably the hardest thing to ever act as if it was real is the most hardest thing to do. As well as trying to remember the lines. Crazy to me how people thought this was a flop. No WB decided it was.
