The Howard Johnson's had the best kid's menus. They not only served as menus but once you had ordered they were entertaining too. Most had some kind of project you could punch out and assemble. My favorite was a paper craft spaceship but another was a tennis hat like this one.

It's a hat that doesn't protect your head from tennis balls.
@The..Butterfly..Effect5 ай бұрын
@@CristiNeagu I think it's a hat that was popular in the 80s, as a status symbol - it's not really practical and comfortable. The idea is to create a shadow and protect the eyes when the players look to the sky And therefore the transparent green plastic It's hard to run with this hat, and the shade doesn't really help too much

Another interesting difference of vocabulary. What Deane calls the "peak" of the hat I would call the "bill". To me, the peak of a hat is the highest point on it, when that point is reached by a ridge, like the ridge to a peak on a mountain.
@boomstand28725 ай бұрын
A true peak is a curved bill. Like on a typical baseball cap, but unlike a trucker's hat, which has a flat bill (and only fits boof-heads).
