The cam covers look like they’re not from a neo rb25 & neither is the CAS, for that turbo to have that much lag must be in tuning & the boost control. The forward facing plenum doesn’t help either but shouldn’t be that laggy. I have a neo rb25 with tomei pon cams, gtx2 3071 .8 housing makes 22psi at just over 4K rpm. Nonetheless enjoyed the vid, keep the content going guys!

As an American it wouldn’t even be fathomable to take a track car back to stock unless you either had connections or a lot of money. Nobody who talks about bringing parts to shore on the FB groups is reliable and I can’t go get them myself lol super cool you guys can do that

not an rb25neo - looks like a standard 25det from a 33gtst that's been swapped in and the turbo has got to be a 3582 if its that laggy. (I have a built 34 myself!)

Are the cam gear out a tooth? look at the cas fully advanced. 10 degrees out explains some of the lag!

I truly hope full boost isn’t really at 5k rpm’s i have that same turbo on my 2L Subaru and it’s spooling at like 3500k rpm’s 😂

Big cams with no VCT won't help! Depends on rear housing too. He's also got a shorter runner intake manifold than stock.

I had a 3L swapped 33 with a 3582R and 0.82 rear housing, made 530hp to the wheels. If you wanted it to hit hard it would hit hard at 3500rpm, if you softened it up so it didn’t ramp all the boost in until 5500 it was way more drivable as it didn’t immediately have wheel spin in 1st-3rd when you gave it throttle.

something is up with it. my R33 GTS-T totally stock, unopened RB25 S1, with 731cc top feeds, 3076 on hybrid manifold and Link ECU running on 98 and 16PSI makes 370rwhp. that thing is supposed to be a Built NEO RB25

It's Springy motor tuned that's why.... I know they can tune....but they couldn't even do some basic gas conversion builds correctly had to fix some stuff on it for my bro
