Thank you for this! My biggest issue with watercolor is just having ideas in general T__T it feels like a ton of planning so you don’t make things too dark/thick and then I get too overwhelmed to even start. Seeing how others start their paintings off really helps jog ideas

I'm the first one???!!! Oh joy, rapture!!!!!!!!!!! Well if I could draw, color and paint that is. Seriously, I am returning to art in my own feeble way fro 54 years ago. I'm amazed at what I cannot do. I do so appreciate your talents and your slow, guided approach to introducing the arts to everyone. Beats the "Auctioneer" standard of this speed draw??? I am going to enjoy this segment, then see about joining your dedicated following. I need some serious remedial education. Ta!

Thanks for your tutorials, Mako. It's lovely to hear your calm voice and thoughtful processes. Not sure if you will see this comment however if you do, may I request that you please list the paint colours you use so that I can have them mixed and ready to go before I begin following your video. As I am a beginner, I'm pretty slow and by the time I mix the paint colours I find that my wash has already dried :( I hope you see the value in this. See you on Skillshare soon
