The SU-47, as well as the American X-29, were never meant to go into production, they were built as experimental testbeds to see what could be learned about forward swept wings and aircraft handling. and the key thing that both projects learned was FSW designs are highly agile but the forward sweep causes extreme stress on the wing root at higher speeds and limits them to Sub-sonic or barely supersonic speeds

23 dosen't have any demo at al, probably it's les agile but having highest cruising speed as a fighter which it's important as stealthy to attack first big radars on ground, in team with 22 which would take fighters. Su 47 should be in team with bombers like in old times having subsonic capabilities it's some kind of defense or for slow war front at border pushing back offender even if is having radars at border.

@@TheEurofighter There isn't a single Russian jet that can do half of this. kzbin.info/www/bejne/haq2gIKfmaZ6etU kzbin.info/www/bejne/aGKzlKx7jdibjac And here's an F-15. It really starts to show what it can do about half way into the video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXKTaHxsqZubr8k An F-18 showing what it's capable of. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWWwiGiKj5ylpc0 And here is Russia's best handling jet: notice how slow it rolls and turns, and how it loses all of it's speed in a turn or vertical maneuver, even with full afterburner 100% of the time! kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHPbo6ZjjL16frM I don't know what you find so impressive about the Cobra maneuver. It's not actually complicated, and it's completely useless. If that's all you base Russian jets off of, you're misplaced my friend, because Russian jets do not handle well. They're over sized, over weight, slow, can't turn, and the cherry on top, is that they're unreliable. A large portion of Russians aircraft are down for repairs at any given time. They're all trash.

Again thanks for this super cool video.. Able to see Su 47 berkut.. It's the most unique design ever built and I think its with this design (not exactly the design, but some of its features which had been tested) Su 57 was built.
