I have cooked a few malai kofta versions in the channel before but the classic one, so this recipe is the classic, traditional malai kofta recipe which is super simple. I know a lot of you guys thought that these are Dahi Bhallas 😂 but you were wrong. There is a cult following for malai koftas & I am sure those who are fans would love his recipe.

made these for my fiance and felt pretty easy since the prep was similar to the gulab jamun recipe you released and ive tried that recipe twice. her first reaction was "dinner to kar liya, ab kya bana raha hai?" lol. they are a good snack to have though, especially since we both work till around 2am(wfh struggle haha) so we just keep munching while while working. thanks team yfl!

When I lived in Riyadh there was a restaraunt that served this and it was basically my favourite dish, I have never been able to find any Malai Kofta recipes that matched it, but I am so happy that you posted this one because I have been craving this for years, thank you. I think theirs had a little more fillings added for the kofta, like beans, peas and carrots, but this resembles and reminds me of it so much, thank you for sharing the traditional Malai Kofta recipe, honestly, thank you so much, lol.

My twist to this is- instead of maida, I add white bread for binding, it never gives the powdery taste of maida.

So, i made a mixed version of your red and white gravy malai kofta (replaced red with green tomatoes).... Following almost all the ingredients with khada masalas and all.... The final result was impeccable, delicious and mind blowing malai kofta that I've EVER had...
