Human transmutation is a form of alchemy, where you try to bring someone dead back to life, but it never works 'cuz what is equivalent to a human soul? and you will lose a part of yourself, like, a limb, organs or sight, things like that, or you die. Or at least that's what happens in Fullmetal Alchemist, if you're more interested watch the show or if I just confused the hell out of you xD
