Malaysia Airlines 1st Airbus A330neo Launch Event!

It was a pleasure to attend the launch event of Malaysia Airlines’ first Airbus A330neo on the 19th of December! Join me as I take you through the event, from the ceremonial proceedings to a comprehensive tour of the aircraft, inside and out!
9M-MNG is the first of 20 A330-900s for Malaysia’s national carrier, ushering in a new era of comfort, luxury and technology through a range of enhanced cabin products and features.
The addition of the A330neo brings a major upgrade to long-haul Business Class, with the superb Collins Aerospace Elevation platform offering direct aisle access at every seat, sliding privacy doors and ergonomic consoles and storage compartments. The 28 seats are arranged in a 1-2-1 layout, featuring new technology such as wireless charging pads and 17.3" 4K touchscreen IFE Screens. MH is the first airline to feature the Collins Elevation platform in SEA, and the first to feature the product on the A330 family.
Long-haul Economy Class also receives a welcome refresh, with 269 top-of-the-line Recaro CL3810 seats arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration. The standard pitch is set at 32", with the first three rows offering 36". Passengers will benefit from comfortable padding, adjustable headrests, 13.3" 4K touchscreen seatback IFE screens and 5" recline.
The entire cabin has been designed in a bright and airy style, making it feel spacious and comforting. Other new features to look out for across cabins include MHstudio RAVE IFE, free MHconnect high-speed WiFi and self-service snack bars, along with Wau and Songket motif themed cabin elements!

@@dayikuluguk absolutely. They just got the aircraft less than a week and already got issue. So its Airbus problem. I hope the other aircraft that soon to be delivered wont face the same issue.

@@kennethchongweithart7905 Unfortunately, the option wasn’t taken…Airbus are apparently seeing a trend of more and more airlines opting out of individual vents, which is a terrible trend in my humble opinion. Bad for the customer 👎🏼
