Very inspiring! These are the women who are going to change our society. Look at her, she is so modern and respected but at the same time still traditional and religious. Keep it up Ann, keep helping and inspiring people.

she is very good and driven with her goals ... there are many asian women mma fighters fighters from many countries who have the same social and media battles with sterotypes and discrimination ... (one that comes to mind for me is Sa Ga Yeon of Korea) who have championed the struggle before this young woman ... I think to have pointed out a few that have paved the road to this young womans success would have enhanced the inpact of the overall message ~

Hey al-jazeera, next time you do a piece on mma, find a reporter that knows a little about it and doesn't just speak for the fighter. This could have been a good chance to show the positives of mma and show that the stereotypes we have of Muslim countries is false. Instead the reporter is clueless and repulsed by mma, something she admits knows nothing about, so she just does a piece that promotes western stereotypes, generalizations about women, and demonizes a sport that breaks all those stereotypes. "what drives a woman to get into that cage?" a woman or man is driven into the cage because they are a fighter. Being a man or woman has nothing to do with it. Way to force the binary where MMA is proving it doesn't exist. Imperial feminism much?
