You two are such a fun couple to watch, really nice. I remember first time going to Melaka in the late nineties of last century, when living in Singapore. Loved it. Then came back with my parents, as they visited us from The Netherlands, when we were still living in Singapore in 2006. Then only visited it again in 2019, after we moved to KL here in Malaysia. Have been there again after Covid in 2023, so have seen it change to a mass tourist town with its ups and downs, pros and cons. And somehow I feel it has gotten hotter and hotter😂

From the nineties to now must be a massive change! But it's still a nice city! Even the locals say it feels hotter than before! 😁

You both look much better now. Jet Lag is gone and you look full of energy again. Your followers in Europe are probably jealous now watching you enjoying the warm weather and beautiful and colourful scenery. Great to see you still making videos, you did not forget about us. I would say be careful with spicy food but it is probably way too late now but more you eat it less hot it gets anyway. That time lapse shot of the storm is epic. But also after the storm how calm is everything... Great video. Have a great Xmas and more great adventures. You deserved it.

Thanks Peter! We're mortified with how badly we were affected by the time change. Fortunately, that's all in the past now and it's great to be exploring again!

Gesëende Kersfees julle twee. Thanks for all the work you do to share your adventures. Much appreciated. To be honest, I think I prefer the motorhome touring especially in Europe as this is what we want to do more of. (Winter 🌞in Spain in Jan & Feb!) We're also excited about your new direction of a place in southern Italy. Congratulations. Julian and Cheryl, fellow dual SA and Italian citizens now living back in the UK for the past 5 years after 9 years in Koh Chang, Thailand. 🥂

Hi Julian and Cheryl! What a nice comment! To be honest, we're also missing our motorhome a little bit 😁 but NOT the winter weather much. 😋 It's been good for us to get another taste of Malaysia again - just to get perspective on what we want to do in the short term. We're definitely looking forward to more motorhome travels and the property is an exciting twist.

@@WeWillNomadI can't remember if you've been to Thailand? That's also good weather wise at this time of year. And the best food in SE Asia! (Slightly biased though.🤭) I hear what you mean about European winter though. 😢 That's, why we'll try Spain this winter. Had enough of UK winter. Goed gaan verder. Hamba kahle.

@@julian-1955 Yip, we've been to Thailand a few times. Always loved it. Best food for sure! But it's a probably bit busier over this time of the year and we did not want to be limited by the short tourist visa (although it's much better nowadays). Bad news for us is we might have to return to Italy sooner than expected. Although, Puglia is not quite as bad as the UK. Spain is great this time of the year. We found it slightly 'quieter' north of Valencia and along the coast the weather is as good as further south for the most of it. Have a good trip!

@@WeWillNomadthanks for the tip. We'll check out your winter trip videos again. Pity if you have to get back to winter weather. Aren't you going back to Langebaan summer again? We had a fantastic stay at Mykonos with friends on our last visit to SA 2 years ago. So easy going. We miss that aspect of SA But I have a nice small local painting of Shark Bay and the Spring flowers to remind me of the gorgeous West Coast. So many places! So little time! (And so little 💰💸😢😂) Merry Christmas. 🎅

@@julian-1955 Aah Langebaan.. 🏖🏖Now that would have been nice! Perhaps next winter.. When we go back to Italy we have to get the property sorted asap as well as get the van ready for spring. As far as winters go, Puglia is not the worst. Hopefully 😁😁
