Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."

“Open Bible=open heart.” Amen! Please everyone-Don’t let anyone try to tell you what the Bible says or what God says-please open the book for yourselves (as Mr. Corden, Sr. did so eloquently) so you can call BS on those who claim to have read it but obviously have not. Sadly, the Bible is often misquoted in an attempt to bend it to a person’s evil agenda. The passage Malcom read in Psalm 37 is refreshingly spot on and was read with sincerity. Thank you Corden family! May the Bible bring clarity and comfort to all who are humble enough to read it.❤️ 🙏

If people today had been all in good churches and knew the Bible well, then they would have not believed that Trump was the Christian, Bible-lover that he claimed to be. There is a few places that outed him, and other fakes self-proclaimed Christ followers. That is another reason to read it, but best if with someone who is an expert on the Bible to clarify and answer questions when you do. For example you will know a real Christian if they are meek, humble, slow to anger, quick to forgive, they are their brother’s keeper, they love their enemies and their neighbors, they do not cast stones, they give to God in secret all they have without drawing any attention of mankind, and much more is discussed and even listed how to recognize the real deal. If only Americans were actually reading their Bibles and understood what they were reading, they would have never chosen this orange fake.

I'm not a religious person, but hearing James' dad read that passage brought tears to my eyes. It pains me to see anyone, our president included, boasting religion and practicing NONE of it. Despite all the evil I see, I believe there is good in this world and hope it reaches the people that need it right now. Silence does not bring change so speak your truth. Stand up for what is right and do not ignore what is wrong. BLACK LIVES MATTER. If you have ever been made to feel like you are less than someone else based on your race, appearance, beliefs, sexuality, or anything, I stand with you. You are not alone. I use to think my voice didn't matter and that I couldn't change anything. I don't want to live that way anymore because silence puts power into the wrong hands.

You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way.” (Leviticus 25:44-46) Let’s be honest, the Bible is not the place is not the place to look for ethics or morality. Trump doesn’t know it (because he clearly hasn’t read the Bible), but his principles actually align with much Biblical morality (or rather, lack thereof). As a matter of fact, it’s precisely when his morality aligns with that of the Bible that we (rightly) condemn him for his lack of ethics.

@notAshildr
@notAshildr 4 жыл бұрын
That's a good one. Because it basically says that being religious doesn't equal acting good. Where the Pharisians didn't help the guy, the Samaritan, a total stranger, did. It basically teaches you to not judge someone by their religion, but by their acts. I also really enjoy the thing about Job, but for totally different reasons.
@jayfredrickson8632
@jayfredrickson8632 4 жыл бұрын
Many people don't realize the full meaning of the parable. Samaritans were despised by the Jews of the time. Jesus' point was that if even a Samaritan could be good or kind , you (his audience ) have no excuse not to be .

Yeah his sweetness made me tear up a little. ❤️ And he showed just how easy it would have been for Trump to actually read a couple of verses. 🤦🏽‍♀️

James, you nailed it with the "book report" comparison! And yes, your dad Malcolm was absolutely hilarious in his Bible-holding clip! Malcolm, thank you for the verses you read.

I agree! Best segment I have watch in a long time. As a Republican I’ve been frustrated, disappointed, and angry since he first went on the campaign trail. I will remember these verses & not let fear grip me. We will be voting soon & we need an anchor in the even crazier months ahead.

@Ninja Dreamer The answer is both surprisingly simple. The first five books are written by Moses, the chronicles were written by courtwriters. Psalms are written by king David and Solomon, unless stated differently. Then there's a whole bunch of prophets that wrote books. Most of the new testament is written by Paul or at the very least commissioned by him.
