Malcolm Stewart: "I didn't want to race!"

2016 Supercross 250CC Champion Malcolm Stewart is returning to the sport after recovering from a knee injury last season. Stewart is the brother of one of the greatest Supercross riders ever, James Stewart. But Malcolm is fighting to build his own legacy and he’s having some success at that. His popularity with Supercross fans grows annually. Malcolm respects that.

Five years later at 26 he beat a bunch of 18 year olds and won a championship 7 years later he barely finishes a season ad "sits out" every outdoor season. I totally get him riding is the ultimate fun and one of the greatest feelings ever but racing is a fuckin task so much waiting for half the time you get out on a practice day, so much stress, so many ignorant reckless low iq riders in the sport, so many sand baggers, so much traveling, then when you're doing great it becomes a job and expectations get high and if you don't meet them you're beating yourself up. More props to him nutting up and keeping the racing going love seeing him out there.
