Here’s the ballad I mentioned I was writing about Sir Galahad. It rather swept in and took me over and I wrote the whole thing in one day. It's in seven parts so you can always pause the film and have some refreshment between parts. I hope you enjoy it. It will eventually be published the forthcoming book from Rabbit Room Press, 'The Lost Tales of Galahad'. This book follows Rabbit Room’s deluxe illustrated edition of The Light Princess. Like that volume, The Lost Tales of Galahad will be a hardback book, illustrated and designed by Ned Bustard, featuring all-new fairy tales about Sir Galahad written by a variety of authors including J. Mark Bertrand, Myself, Ned Bustard, Rebecca Reynolds, Annie Nardone, Douglas Mckelvey, Jonathan Rogers, A.S. Peterson, and more. Visit rabbitroom.com to find out when this will be released (no official street date has been announced yet)
If you'd like to encourage and support me with this channel you could always pop over and buy me a coffee sometime - but not every time of course, and no obligation. Hwere's my coffee page www.buymeacoffee.com/malcolmg...

Very good! The line "and soon a mechanistic will became a clockwork soul" is a perfect argument for why we need poetry. Thank you for sharing.

I use to be the necromancer but I found the golden key, I took a deep breath, opened the door and jumped in, eyes wide open! Peace and love always. Sincerely, William D. Wonderful! Thoroughly enjoyed this! The stream near the end brought to mind a dream I had years ago. I was in a green valley, ankle deep in a stream, talking with a friend about scripture - soon I realized that the water itself was the Word, and verses and phrases were flowing around my feet and becoming illuminated when we would speak of them. I waded a bit further into the stream, and it was up to my knees, then a bit further, and it was to my waist. Finally, I came to a river that was perpendicular to the stream, a deep river flowing fast. Then I awoke. I later found an identical account of the river that flows from the temple in Ezekiel 47. Your writing recalled for me my dream. Thank you for that.

The only thing missing is your pipe, good sir. I wish many years of life to yourself. BTW: I love your Sherlock series Peterson original and I also, am a fan of all 7 briars of that set. Good coffee, a good read and my pipe is my idea of solace or reflection.

Poured up a Bordeaux "Château Grand Désir" 2016 to enjoy this pure gift. With Geo MacD's Golden Key being a favorite and then recently reading Piranesi, there seemed to be a similar deepening invitation of wayfinding and more.

@@MalcolmGuitespell That Ballad was your first ? Gosh well done 👍 I think you could choose a more relevant subject ( no offence to The Grail) ie, about how music and poetry ( two things you clearly love) blend into something surreal, or draw on Orpheus who as you know was both poet and musician. Just some thoughts that have come to mind. Grazie 🙏 again . S.
